Thank you for your interest in teaching during Crossroads of Culture!

We are soliciting teachers for any topic that is rooted in the Viking world. What do we mean by that? The Viking Age is squishier than we typically think of it and the Viking raids touched many different places throughout the world during those years.

For our purposes, we are considering the Viking Age to begin with the sack of Lindisfarne, circa 793 and end with the defeat of Harald Hardrada in 1066.

During those centuries, the Vikings had contact with people all over the world while also fostering a rich culture in their own societies. We are seeking teachers who are knowledgeable about the times and places that were in contact with these Vikings, or knowledgeable about the Scandinavian societies themselves.
