As ever, Highland Hearthglow strives to be a live, interactive, and broadly reaching community display of Arts & Sciences related to our theme. This year, Frauva Svana has set an array of display opportunities accessible both virtually and in-person. Follow the link for each title to learn more about that specific display and how to participate as those details become available.

A Life Well Lived
With respect for the lives that have taught us so much from the past, we challenge participants to create a grave for their persona, either visually or as a written description.
What would have happened to your persona at the end of their life? Would they have been buried in a grave? A tomb? A chamber? Would goods have been included with them? Sacrifices? Was there hope for an afterlife?
Armor Display
Do you fight with a Viking kit? Is your soft kit influenced by Viking Age finds? Do you fight with some other style of kit that’s influence by other cultures from the 8th-11th centuries who were in contact with the Scandinavians?
We want to see it. We invite you to display your kit, hard or soft, at Highland Hearthglow: Ash, Elm and Iron.
