Ahlan wa sahlan!
Highland Hearthglow is an annual event focused on hospitality and foodways across all times and places pre-17th century. This year’s event celebrated the culture of the Golden Age of al-Andalus, taking us to the city of Córdoba around the year 900 CE. This event will focus on the music, poetry, fashion, and of course food, in the context of shared culture among Muslims of both Arab and Amazigh origin, Jews, and Christians living in the Umayyad Caliphate..
